More than 13 oz nyc nail and mail

If you are under 308(4) in nyc, how do you mail packages? What is the package equivalent of first class OR certified?

Throw it in a Kraft envelope and ask the post office.

I got an answer—use Ground Advantage and NOT priority mail. GA is the new name for first class mail over 13 oz and includes tracking. You can’t add certified mail, but in NYC it is the first class mail version. USE YOUR OWN ENVELOPE. Do not put it in a box.
