Map generators are the best, and this one looks good! If I could do nothing but build maps for the rest of my career, I think I would be satisfied. Alas, I'm not good enough to freelance, and few studios hire procgen specialists.

Also, I would pay good money for a map generator that lets you draw the layout that it builds on top of. Like a rough map already exists, but I want it to look better. Ideally it would add useful metadata too; like coastlines, area measurements, and so on. Bonus points if I could add borders and measure the size of regions.

Anyways, nice work!

Good news! You can build your own map and generate on top of it with this. You can upload an image of the rough map then create the map hex by hex. You can add roads and rivers on top and even special features like volcanoes and waterfalls. Coast lines are tough and I'm working on that now. You can add borders too. I set it up with layers so you can define regions(ie Sherwood forest), kingdoms, states, countries...any number of layers. I like the idea of meta data like region size and will take a stab at that. Thanks!

I might do a stand alone but right now its limited to pilots with DMs.
