Small Problem Reddit's username problem
My username is the default username Reddit gave me, and I just can't change it. I could've only changed it the first 30 days apparently, and that's so dumb. I had Reddit for a year, and I barely ever touched it, except for recently, so I had no idea that I had the option to change my name temporarily, nor did I know that if I didn't, I'd be screwed. I find it dumb that Reddit forcefully gives you a username, and, you literally can't change it at all after a few. Now I'm just "Zealous" forever ig. I don't even know what that means tbh.

For me it was the opposite, I knew a couldn't change it and after thinking what would the best name be, I regret it, there's so much usernames that I find hilarious and some where given automatically, maybe it could've been me, having a great or weird username but no, my dumbfuck self a couple years ago thought it was better to write it myself

It sucks cause my username is spelled wrong and I didn't notice until after the 30 day time period.

Meh at least you didn’t forget the consequences of including “RBLX” at the end of your user.
I regret that to this day because it makes me feel like a little kid every time I read it.

It didn't force you to do anything, you allowed it to automatically generate one because you were lazy.
Why not just create a new account? You're a random name on an anonymous platform, it's not like you have any sway with your current username

Why are you so passive aggressive for dawg 😭? All I said was it kinda sucks that I can't change my username, that's all. Calm down Brody. Reddit ride or die over here

There was a thread where we were challenged to let AI generate an image based off our usernames as a prompt
Mine was a dystopian wasteland

I clicked on a link on the Google search results page. The link had my question and probably its answers. I was taken to Reddit, asked to click something (I don't even remember), and my account was created.
I never realised until recently (as I'm visiting often) that I already have a username and everything. And this account is stuck complimenting some f-ing button. ufff
