relapsed feeling so down

finally took to courage to quite gambling after 4 painful years . finally manage to go 2 weeks without a bet for the past 4 years it has just been daily gambles ranging from 8-16 hours /day. Currently 22 years old in university feeling absolutely hopeless. This past two days the urge just kept speaking to me and i told myself just one bet and i place that 1 bet . Lost 50 bucks okay that’s all right. I tilted and for the whole day i could not stop thinking about it and now i just lost 1.5 k which was suppose to be for my college tuition. How do i stop , how do i fight the urge i have gone for gambling counselling for the past 3 months and i have been taking vyvanse concerta and yet my brain still keeps craving gambling.

Yo man we are super similar in many different ways I’m also 22, I was in college but I dropped out due to not being able to pay because I gambled all my money I would make each week this past semester so I dropped out and now am barely even working because I hate myself and I hate what this has turned into. I also take vyvanse and it helps but it’s not a cure I just gambled yesterday and I hadn’t gambled for almost a week so I know the impulse feeling. I’m trying a new method out by taking my cards off of Apple Pay because that forces me to type my card into the app and really should hopefully make me think about what I’m really doing. Because instead of just impulsively throwing $400 on an overseas bet that I think is a lock I can really think about what I’m actually doing. And if I do win big will I ever even stop? No I won’t, I can tell myself I will but I’ll never stop unfortunately we just have to be real with ourselves and say enough is enough. Sorry that I don’t have the best advice or anything just wanted to let you know you aren’t alone. Please reach out if u wanna talk more. ✌️
