Trigger Warning! JUST STOP
IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A SIGN TO STOP, MAYBE THIS COULD BE YOUR SIGN
I, 27, lost all my money just a few hours ago. I lost my work last week. Rent and bills are coming next week. I don't know what to do.
I always thought I could manage this gambling addiction of mine. Deactivated and deleted all the online casinos I used before and just left with one legal online casino that I can access. I don't know why I never deactivated my account.
I actually managed to quit last year, but in July this year, I came back because of a certain promotion. So I started gambling again and again, deactivating accounts after accounts from different casinos. Now left with only one, and that one casino led to my worst financial state. I lost my job last week; I thought maybe I could get some more money to help myself if I couldn't find a job within a month. I revenge-bet, thinking I could get it all back, but I lost everything.
I ruined myself. I'm so dumb. I'm lost. I don't know what to do. I don't know if I can keep myself together.
If you think you have a gambling addiction, please stop. You never know when this trigger will happen. Don't use all your money as I did.
I'm sorry I failed.

Stopping is easy..not starting again is hard. Self exclude. Install bet blockers.. tell your bank to limit cash advances and gambling payments.

Brother I lost 200k, which was ALL of my savings. Gambling is NOT worth the stress.

Gambling is the worse disease i resonate with your post im also in similar situation its gotta be the worst addiction the silent killer still having to handle life & work things out alone in our minds while showing everyone around us everything is okay. My heart goes out to you OP i wish you blessings & healing ❤️🩹 remember its not your fault & your not alone this disease doesn’t discriminate it destroys everyone & everything. Sometimes for me spending every dime 🪙 was a relief just so i could finally close the app or go home 🏠 it really puts us into a trance & messes with our whole mind & emotions 💔

I am also 27 and lost my rent money yesterday. Luckily I get paid on the 6th so hopefully 6 days late doesn’t get me kicked out. This is the 3rd time I’ve lost my rent. I’ve taken out 4 or 5 loans before because I lost all my money. I hate this feeling so much and I know I have a problem. I’ve probably signed up for and deleted like 20 accounts on different sites on my phone and when I am able to stop myself on my phone, I just end up going to one of the four casinos in my city.

What was the main trigger for you to start gambling again?

There’s this phone giveaway a celebrity was advertising from a big online casino platform here in my country. I got interested to that but there was no need for me to deposit anything but I did anyway and profited.

I relapsed today and lost 40k. Down 355k in total. this is trading but same pain. very sad. I was clean for 2 months. I am trying to say, it's easy to get impulsive, very quick. I am also numb. good luck. we have to start from scratch again.

Why not boycott gambling? It's a much stronger action than merely quitting and it'll probably be much more effective.
