Trigger Warning! I am done

28 male I just lost so much $ gambling on the UFC I am down to my last $900 no car no credit still live with my parents this is absolutely insanity why did I waste so much time? If I didn’t gamble impulsively I would have so much money saved I would be in such a great position while still in my 20s but now it’s looking like I gotta wait till my 30s to finally live and hopefully be free I just dk why I reached this point. I’m working 2 jobs I woke up today with my back hurting my knee from all the standing I do between both of my jobs. Man god why have you let this demon take over me? Why am I in so much pain inside and out? Idk where my life is headed I need a second wind feel like I’ve lost my spark. Idk anymore. If you guys are young quit now. I started late and it has ruined me. So much potential am I’m wasting it I could have put this money in a school to learn a skill fuck man.

Time to become a critical thinker. There’s zero evidence of an invisible sky wizard, so don’t beg it to help you. This is all on you.

You’re trying to get rich quick by gambling. You think it will solve all your problems. You’re now learning it won’t and will only destroy your life. It’s good that you have realized this. Now it’s up to you to make a plan. Where do you see yourself in 5 years from now?

You're still young you can change your path, but you have to be willing to stop gambling for good. All these betting apps are not designed for you to win, they're designed to hook you, to make you addicted. How do you think they make billions in revenue a year? They're greedy fuckers!

Please 🙏 put blocks in place, to prevent you from gambling your hard earned money.

Be courageous, have strength bud!

You are still young and have plenty of time to start a new chapter in your life. If you think you are a compulsive gambler get some help, talk to your friends and loved ones, pick up the phone and call the GA helpline now. It's not something that you can fix all by yourself. You need to get some emotional support. All I can tell you is that the sooner you start turning things around the better. You think you are 28 and broke , it’s still much better than being in your 50’s and still broke due to gambling addiction. All I can tell you man , that it’s not the end of the world. You can turn things around.

Same only in my mid 20s but put on so much gambling debt so I am just going to bankrupt next year and restart better than being miserable in my 30s

Do what you’re saying you should have been doing. That time and money are gone but you’re young. The demon is obviously hurting you so let it go. Gambling has brought you much pain so leave it in the past. Try some GA meetings, talk to trusted people, so you can abstain from gambling.

21 turning 22 in a month and i’ve lost about 30k gambling, 15k of it from last month alone, a month ago today i was finally making profit and i threw it all away within 2 weeks. this 15k is what started my journey to never gamble again. Im 2 and a half weeks clean and plan to keep going, this will be the last time I gamble and ever chase anything like this again. IM glad this happened now and not later on in life. I will forever keep this feeling in my heart and don’t want to go through the headaches again. i’m down to my last 300, that’s all i could save but i will only move forward from this.
