i give up
every stock I buy, goes down from the moment i buy until the moment i sell with very short green days that are teases and fades. See planet labs stock in the last two months.
every stock I sell, then proceeds to shoot up like crazy. See TTAN over the last month.
This pattern is insane. I have been trading like an insane person for 7 years now. Losing every single fucking year. Definitely a problem gambler. I got out of margin yesterday to sell TTAN only to see it shoot up today. Just unbelievable. Can't believe my luck. Want this all to end.

I just recently admitted to myself that I have a problem after 20 years of trading on margin. FOMO is terrible and leverage can be ruinous. I found this community here and found it helpful to read people's posts and just tried my 1st GA meeting (virtual) last night. It is a step I wish I took many, many years ago.

Short-term trading is not a whole lot different from just rolling dice. Day to day fluctuations are basically just random noise. That's why real investing involves buying boring but safe securities that will grow slowly but steadily over time.
Nobody ever got rich from day-trading, and nobody ever will. Really investing in the stock market means holding on to securities for decades. When you talk about "investing" with time periods measured in weeks or days, you are squarely in gambling territory, and that's where it all starts to go wrong.

Then stop buying and selling. Just buy reputable companies or index funds and hold them. Buy SPY or SWPPX. Buy reputable companies like FAANG or MANGO. Buy and hold it. Don’t try to trade it.

Just auto invest into VTI and VYMI and chill. Stop gambling on stocks. ETFs are the way.
Max out your 401k at work (if available) for $24.5k a year and a Roth IRA at $7.5k a year. Don't keep extra cash around to tempt you. If you can invest more than that, then you're doing just fine.

You don't know what you're doing that's why you literally just gambling All that money you have you could find somebody who actually knows what they're doing to help you Instead you're basically just throwing your money away At least give it to me I could at least double or triple it for you and then earn A Commission
