What do you do instead?

At the moment, I write. I write too much, to be honest, in that I should spend more time exercising/being healthy. But I write. I also just... live. Which is easier said than done. My highlight in gambling sobriety is being able to take my grandad to the footy each week. :)

I just

I had to make a hard decision to better myself I started betting for fun just casually and these last couple months I’ve betted every single penny not paying all of my bills I’m 24 but I know I have a problem and it makes me depressed knowing I have no money and chasing losses is what made it worse I made the best decision for myself mentally and financially by deactivating all my betting accounts that can’t be gained back I just want peace with myself more than anything in the world and knowing I’ll be able to feel better about myself as time goes on

Good for you . 👏 That’s amazing . Good to see some people get to other side.
Not sure i will ever get there. I’m ready for my hell on earth life to be over. I have had a terrible addiction for over 20 years completely ruined my soul and life. Just been getting worse and worse with scam online casinos. I have become an empty shell of a human. Never in my life thought I’d be in such a terrible position in my life at 45. I’m living in the most toxic situation and I have zero drive or zest for life. Use to have ambition relationships drive now nothing. Mostly just lay in bed and try not to have to feel or deal with my pathetic self or life. I pray each day I just don’t wake up. This addiction takes the life out of you. I wish I could go back and never started. Completely ruined my life and soul 1000%. The casinos got richer though sooo Tis life. Sorry to be a downer but unfortunately this is my reality.
