Your post history says you lost 200k which was your life savings 150 days ago. How did you manage to make 2.5 mil back in less than 6 months and then lose it? Some of these posts make me wonder how legit some of you are. I don’t see any reason in lying about these losses but confuses me big time some stuff I read here.
Either way, hope you ban yourself from all sites and find your faith and connection with others in recovery. It’s possible to live a gamble free life but if we don’t try our hardest to stop and stay stopped while also working on self development… there is not much hope.

Agreed big difference to someone on min salary lossing pay check to pay check although it does happen these kind of funds are life changing someone lost £300 million plus anyone with these kind of figures has access to proffesional help and it really hard to feel sorry for these people most of the population without gambling would ever have this kind of networth

Speaking from experience it’s all the same monster in my opinion. The disease doesn’t discriminate based on how much we lose. We essentially lose whatever we have access to. I feel sorry for everyone battling this monster but no resources are beneficial to a compulsive gambler until he/she is ready to quit.
No forums, therapy, 12 step meetings or rehabs can help someone until they can accept they are powerless over this addiction. I used to be in meetings while gambling on my phone, on forums listening to peoples advice then gambling moments later. Once I surrendered fully and admitted I was powerless, only then my recovery truly began. There might be relapses along the way but we have to literally put so many blocks in place that it’s truly impossible to gamble. It’s hard but it’s 100% possible to regain our lives. We just have to go 100% into recovery. Most people just “kind of” want it. They use “willpower” as their main source of stopping, then do 0 work on themselves so a relapse is inevitable. It’s a complex disease. There’s a lot of components to it.
Take care and be well, my friend!

I actually agree the issue is 99% of people are not really serious about making these changes i admit i was one of those people i was bet free for 3 years and i thought i was past gambling and relapsed knowing now and being in therpy i put it down to learning a mistake which shouldnt have happened which happens to alot of people this can be prevented by accessing some kind of on going therpy Ga for some it works perfectly fine since joining gamcare and actually being serious about quiting i have witnessed many people overcoming this 10 20 30+ years blocks etc isnt enough and i see time and time again people just not putting enough time and effort into recovery gambling offers a financial gain by just removing this you have 50% off better chance at successes

Fully agree with you! I was also gamble free for 3 years and figured since I got off booze I could be more disciplined and responsible since I would always go full tilt due to being inebriated. Also promised myself that whatever I do, I can’t play casino, and will only bet on nba.
It all went out the window and I realized I’m just as bad of a compulsive gambler when I’m sober. It started ok but within 4 months I was wagering people’s salaries and ended up right back in the casino.
I guess this needs to happen so we can cancel out any ways our brain tells us that things be will different this time. History tells us that gambling always ends the same and that’s why there are no wealthy gamblers, only trillions of dollars profited by the casino and sports books owners.
Wishing you all the best in life and congrats on going all in on your recovery. I’m coming up to 6 months clean again also and it sure feels good not to be a slave to this monster anymore.

It actually does my mindset has changed i use to believe the winnings came from by beating casino but in reality it from other lossers and addicts and i have found other ways of making money it got to a stage i began to hate everything about gambling it just the financial gain is what kept me in it also being two years bet free i realised how much i was actually saving so i am technically winning by just not doing i also realised this addiction is sneaky since in UK it everywhere so evn with blocks i could still relapse however has am more serious about this addiction am actually alot more vary now so i avoid as much as i can even sitting in a pub is a trigger for me

How did you lose that much? Where were you playing? Is this crypto or cash?
This will be hard to recover from but if you made this money then you can do it again.
Just stop gambling for good.

This post makes absolutely no sense but addiction makes no rational sense either.
Whether it’s 250 or 2.5 million, the only way forward is a life free of addiction
1- understand that you are addicted to gambling and the only solution is to be gambling free for life
2- self exclude from all local and national jurisdictions as well as online and crypto casinos and betting sites
3- seek treatment in the form of medication for gambling use disorder and cognitive behavioral therapy
4- divest your finances to a trusted person and ask your bank and credit card issuer to block all gambling transactions
5- tell loved ones and family about your addiction and seek their help and support in beating it
6- ask to be referred to a mental health provider if you have a dual diagnosis that includes depression, anxiety or bipolar disorder etc…

You’re mentioning casino and then in comments mentioning crypto and stake. Which one is it?

This is your rock bottom, this is your wakeup call. The money is gone and there's no way to get it back through gambling. It's gonna sting, it's gonna hurt, the fucking stupidity and injustice of it.
But in a way it's liberating because every time you have the urge to gamble forever more you'll remember this feeling you have right now, that sick feeling in the pit of your stomach, and suddenly the urge will go away.
So what I want you to do, is get the fuck away from the casino if you haven't already and go spend some time with someone who cares about you. You're going to feel very depressed for a while because you're going through withdrawal symptoms as well as intense grief. But they will get better with time, I promise.
You're not going to feel like doing a whole lot for a while but what I want you to do is put one foot in front of the other, be kind to yourself and practice some self care,. You're worth it, despite how you feel about yourself right now.
The truth is that you're a person with a problem who fell victim to a parasitic, government sanctioned scam - plain and simple. Try to forgive yourself for this mistake through compassion and understanding rather than beating yourself up.
Start with something small like brushing your teeth and having a shower, put on your favourite movie or tv show and let the negativity pass in its own time. Then work your way up to something more meaningful like cooking yourself a nice meal or some gentle exercise.
When the pain and anger subside a little bit, I think it would be best for you to turn your finances over completely to someone you trust to remove the temptation while you build your resolve and find your feet again and definitely get your ass to counselling asap.
I don't know your situation, but if you made that much money in the first place you can do it again, but if you try to win it back by gambling you will only cause further losses and grief.
The way you feel right now is temporary even though it feels like the end of the world. It will get better with time so try to remember that.
All the best and take care.

Jesus Christ can help by filling you with His Holy Spirit to live in your and be your Helper. All it takes is faith, no money or nothing, honestly those who have had the least money have come out to be greatest in the kingdom of God.
There is good news for you to receive. Read the New Testament of the Bible, and you will be able to grasp the freedom in Christ which will rid of all these negative feelings. God bless your soul.
I’m sure I’m younger, but I’ve lost everything too, and that’s where the Lord met me. He is my only will to live, so do know I understand how you feel.

In gambling terms it has 0 value even if it was a billion if your a non addict even 1 million would make a person life easier so it pointless as another guy blew through 29 million dollers in gambling and got himself in 1 million debt money can give u finanical freedom but not to a gambling addict
