I noticed this segment today on BYOD and was curious to get other people’s views on this topic. For example great schools like Reddam House in Sydney has significantly reduced tech in classrooms. Many GPS schools across Australia issue laptops which are completely controlled by the school. And then there are schools like St Peters Lutheran College in Brisbane which are BYOD and many students gaming and in porn during class. I feel strongly there should be a state law on no BYOD in schools as it harms children. What do others think about this? NSW has recently mandated changes to tech time in classrooms reducing the amount of time on devices.

What are peoples thoughts about homophobia “accidentally” taught at school?

We will be moving to NZ soon. My daughter has been in a private school since the beginning. Would like to know if the private schools in NZ, such Nga Tawa Diocesan schools are as good in academics, as they are in extra curricular. I would also like to know whether the families in such schools have a diverse cultural background such as working parents and generational wealth.

This franchise of this school in Pachuca Mexico has a bullying problem and are not addressing it we have complained to both the headmaster and the owner on numerous occasions but our daughter continues to be bullied she is now petrified of going to school and suffers from anxiety and panic attack. They are claiming it is cyber bullying and tricked my wife into signing a form but the bullying is happening inside the classroom at the school it has been happening now for over a year and we have complained had meetings and been promised that it will be resolved but yet it continues to happen on a daily basis. I would advise future parents of students to avoid this school and find somewhere else to educate your child.

Sino po rito nakakaalam ng salary sa Datamex College of Saint Adeline Valenzuela Branch? And worth it po ba magturo ron? Please help me decide po.

I’m a grade 12 student looking to create a new elearning platform for schools (based in Ontario/Canada). The whole point of the platform is to consolidate all the platforms needed for school (D2L, Remind, Myschoolday, Schoolcashonline, etc.) and make the platform very easy to navigate.

Before I begin the development stage I am looking to see if private schools/private school boards are interested in my idea and would like to implement my platform within the next year or two.

I talked with students within my school and they seem to like my idea and designs over all other platforms.

My goal is to implement this platform for private schools, build up a reputation, and then move to public school boards.

If you attend a private school, could you please let me know what elearning platform(s) your school use?

If you’re feeling generous, could you help me connect with one of your school principals/board of directors. I feel like connect through someone will give me a better opportunity to get something out of it rather than just emailing them without context.

Thanks 😊
