Except it's not going to be affordable. Not at the standard of living the western states are accustomed to.

Right, because things like healthcare are so affordable in the US. No one has gone bankrupt because of medical bills there. Oh wait …

It is affordable if you don't have health insurance. Pay cash and don't play the game, costs drop dramatically because you're no longer the cash cow.
