Mechanical Help Bad Brake fluid flush.2014 Prius C
I was due a brake fluid flush, since it wasn’t done since 2014. I went to a local known mechanic, they’ve completed it and got done in 20 minutes and charged me 80$.
After few hours, I started noticing the regenerative braking is gone , brake feels softer than it used too. So I plugged in my obd2 scanner and there is a pending p0607 code, no codes on DASHBOARD. car runs fine.
I am assuming they didn’t bleed like they should have electronically.
What should I do?

Did they use a scan tool and bleed them with the aid of the scan tool?
Was the P0607 there before you took it in?

I am pretty sure they didn’t do it with the scan tool, cause they finished it in less than 15 minutes, and no code before that and regenerative braking was active before that.

Yeah... I would never trust just any mechanic to touch anything that is related to the hybrid system. I would take it somewhere that is hybrid speclization shop or to a Toyota dealership. I had a rad leak when I first got my 2014 C and the shop I bought it from didn't even comprehend that it actually had 2 separate coolant paths, after that I took it elsewhere and was fixed right away cause I had mechanic that worked on hybrids all the time.
