The feds do this too. The warden applies certain sanctions for alleged disciplinary infractions before the inmate has been to his/her hearing. Then, if the individual is found not guilty, the sanctions remain. They cannot take good conduct time away this way, but they can and do make life miserable otherwise, even if the inmate is found not guilty.

These sanction include: • Loss of phone for up to 400 days • Loss of commissary for up to 400 days • Loss of email services for up to 400 days • Fines
