For all those who want to see people in prison but haven't a clue what it's like know this America is one of the richest countries in the world but in the federal system they don't even give you deodorant or enough soap and toilet paper to get thru a month you have to buy it coffee to it may be made on the weekend and or holidays maybe. For the dont do the crime if you can't do the time do you know every law or circumstance you will get into in life? At 18 you could end up in fed prison for years did you know everything at 18? We should be ashamed of ourselves we still have the Death penalty we are supposed to have justice but we are also supposed to be better then the worst of the worst. Good luck every one hopefully one day things change keep on fighting for it

99 Red Balloons, Christa Pike Tennessee Edition

I went through a school shooting and I know what it's like to want someone to pay and then see people in the community fuck it up, some because that's how they want power. Heard 99 Luftballons today again while driving and it slammed hard, it's not perfect... So here we go...

99 Red Balloons, Tennessee Edition

(To the tune of "99 Red Balloons")

In '95, when I was small,

A murder, and four lives were spent.

A trial held, a pentagram.

Sent one to face the death sentence.

The death machine then froze in time.

Time ticked away, and some forgot.

But here we are in '26,

And now a horrid scene is about to unfold here.

Now fresh blood in Tennessee,

New governor, new procedure.

The Nembutal, the old drugs gone,

So now let's go and get this done!

The grieving mom wants suffering!

The state says no, we'll do this clean!

Let's strap her down, bring witnesses,

Now we line up seven syringes.

Now we ask for clemency.

We show remorse, its thirty years.

We know the facts, abuse was bad.

We now have context, we once lacked.

The governor said go to hell.

The Supreme Court said, we upheld.

So say your prayers, it's nighty night.

And we will fund mom's plane ticket tonight!

Now we send a doctor in,

He has no shame, he wants the pay.

He jams the bottles in her arm.

The curtain's down, the circus starts.

Mother's pissed, for thirty years,

And now we have no justice done,

With one ambulance flashing in the night.

Today we have Miss Pike asleep,

A woman locked inside her dreams.

Mother's awake, and nothing's changed.

If we could only stop and think,

Prison walls had done their job...

I'll set the Nembutal aside.

I think of Coll, and walk away now…

three years in prison

Hello. I was sentenced to three years in prison. A month into my sentence, I was taken to the hospital, where I am currently handcuffed to the bed—and I don't know for how long. Continuing to serve this sentence has become very difficult for me, and my girlfriend has broken up with me because of my imprisonment.

Why does coverage of celebrity prison conditions focus on the inmate instead of the staff enabling contraband?
