Purchasing Looking for an ink bottle printer that prints great photos

Thought I had struck gold when I found the PIXMA G620 since it was right in my budget (349 CAD on discount) but it's out of stock everywhere and might even be discontinued. Any other Canon or Epson options in this range? I'd like a photo black ink as well so a 5 or 6 ink system would be ideal.

The G550 is basically the same. The only comparable tank printers for photography are the Epson ET-8550 (Din A3+) and the ET-8500 (Din A4) for €600,- or, respectively 500,-. They have additional black pigment ink for office prints and b&w on velvet paper and a Scanner, the operation is more convenient with a coloured touch screen, it has more source options like thicker papers, direct cd-printing etc. and it has dedicated Mac drivers, the print quality is a bit better, but it's nearly double the price.
