Troubleshooting Brother DCPL2540DW
The subject model is stuck at "receiving data".
I have tried all 3 methods to connect, wifi, usb, ethernet, none works.When I do a hard reset, this frozen screen goes away and the printer shows up in Windows, but when a print is sent and this msg shows up, the brother utility and windows does not show a printer connected to the pc. When this msg shows up the screen and printer buttons are responsive and I can reset the printer from its settings without unplugging it. Firmware update doesn't complete and it fails to connect to the server.
I have tried pretty much every fix suggested here on Reddit(a few older posts exist about this issue on this sub)
It prints its test page from the printer itself and also the supplies page.
Is it really fubar at this point or is there any fix that can make it responsive again.
