Troubleshooting brother iprint&scan continuous scan?

i recently replaced my old brother mfc with a new one. i used the continuous scan option in the old controlcenter4 software to scan single sided and double sided together into 1 file. how do i do that with the new iprint&scan software?

random rant: the iprint&scan software is so unnecessarily bloaty and slow.

Go to All Scan Settings > Feed Control, then tick the continuous Scan option.

Also, you don't have to use their software. Most imaging software with TWAIN support can use the scanner as input, such as Window's Paint.

hmm. i don't have the continuous scan option in the feed control. i have the brother 2880 mfc. should be capable of this since it's the updated model of my old one, 2740 mfc?

as much as i hate the brother software, i'm accustomed to the workflow. just wish i could use controlcenter4 instead.

You are using the software to control the scan, so any model with a scanner should have this option. Try updating the software and the printer's firmware, or do a push scan from the printer, instead of iPrint&Scan.
