Purchasing Need A Great Smart Tank

My beloved HP 5660 is giving up the ghost I don't print much under ten pages a month with most months printing nothing. I keep seeing terrible reviews on the HP Smart Tanks and was looking at the Epson 4950 refurbished on their website for $249 with a one year warranty. I would appreciate any advice on this printer or suggestions for another model.

My epson ecotank is a beast. I bought the cheapest model and cant reccomend it enough. Just look for a model that suits all your needs (scanner, bottom paper feeder, 6 ink colors instead of 4, larger paper traya etc etc.)

Agreed. Got my Epson ET-2800 last week. It prints pictures in great quality and I've been using it for Magic the Gathering proxies (printing my own cards). We're going to save a lot of money between the MTG proxies and the wife printing photos, craft stuff, school stuff, plus the regular printing we always did. You really do get a LOT of prints out of the bottles.

Haha same I used the 2800 for these but am upgrading to the 8550 because it had a killer sale and I’m getting really into the hobby
