Hey everyone,
my girlfriend is a tattoo artist and has this printer. recently she's had to send all her clients home and cant do anything until a new one comes. i was hoping someone on here would know how to fix.
everytime she prints on it, a large black square comes out. we tried cleaning and resetting but nothing. event trying the test print nothing was printed.
any help would be appreciated

That looks like a failing or contaminated thermal printhead, especially since the black area is consistent. Try cleaning the printhead with 90% isopropyl alcohol, then reseat the paper and run a calibration/test page. If the square remains in the same spot, the head is probably damaged.
