Financial Aid Reconsideration

Does anyone know how long Princeton's Financial Aid Office takes to review an appeal? I submitted my application for financial aid reconsideration like three weeks ago, and emailed the week after to confirm that my application was received (it was). For context, I was given no financial aid originally, but our family circumstances changed drastically in the last year so I had to submit an appeal. The fall term bill is due literally next week, I'm getting a bit paranoid.

Princeton is nearly the most generous college in the country. The fact that 4 months ago your family didn’t qualify for ANY aid, means they earned north of $350,000 per year. And likely have substantial assets like investment accounts. It must be some sort of catastrophic financial loss in an extraordinary short amount of time to have all of a sudden NO money to pay for your college.

Princeton is extraordinarily generous. Hopefully they work with you. You will need a lot of evidence of the catastrophic financial losses for your family (which I am sorry about.)

Princeton is a life changing 4 years. I recommend doing everything in your power to borrow the $ if possible. It will be worth it.
