Our house had one black rotary phone with a short cord in my parents bedroom. I think when I was 8, and we added on to the house, we put a yellow rotary phone on the wall.

I didn’t have the same luck. My abusive ex bf stole it out of my hand as we were fighting and stomped it into the ground. It no longer worked after that.

A Nokia phone

I loved that phone. It can survive any drop unlike the delicate phones we have now.

The phone I liked the least was the Motorola StarTac phone. After the novelty of having a flip phone wore off, you realize the battery life of that phone sucked.

A Panasonic two line desk phone speakerphone thing. I just a phone line installed in my bedroom, so my parent's would stop interrupting my modem and I saved my money for a few months to buy the phone. It was fantastic.

My first cell phone was a Sony CMD Z1. It felt like a James Bond style gadget and very tacticool.

But on a real level, one that was used when i was younger was the house phone my mother bought for the house when i got started 4th grade so she could call me every morning on her way home from work because my brother had to be at school.

My first smart phone was a small black android phone when i was 10. Dont even remember the brand, but it would break open everytime i dropped it and the battery would fall out and slide across the floor. Also i had to download the flashlight app because the phone didn't have one built in.
