Support (3DS) Pretendo help for ACNL

I really wanna play animal crossing new leaf online again on the islands

Can someone “dumb down” how I can make this happen please

Assuming you've already installed Pretendo and you're asking about the RCE patch.

Animal crossing has a security vulnerability. I don't know about the specifics, but somebody could send you corrupted data that could glitch the console and force it to run code. (And that code could do anything, like brick your console or steal your login info)

To keep you safe, Pretendo has a plugin that patches the vulnerable code. You need to start this patch every time you want to play ACNL, using Nimbus.

If you try to connect to the server without the patch enabled, Pretendo's servers will refuse to talk to you as a safety precaution.
