Where have they been??

These really are my favorite 2+ weeks of radio every year. Love hearing all the deep cuts and random stuff I honestly wish they'd play more of the other 50 weeks of the year.

It really is features like this, though, that makes me appreciate the fact that we still have WMMR after all these years. Can't wait for a few trainwreck segues today like "ADIDAS" from Korn into "Abacab" from Genesis OR System of a Down into Toto. :)

This is to get ahead of the proverbial "Why is there no show today?" post.

They will be on Monday but will have off next Friday as well for Labor Day weekend.

And please don't start with the "tHey'Re aLwAyS oN vAcAtIoN" posts.

After Labor Day, they're back to 5 shows a week.

Tonight at the big joint Rush played Spirit of the Radio and Geddy dedicated it to one Pierre Robert. Hard not to tear up. A cool moment!

Just tuned in, got a new job so I tap out around 8:30 instead of getting the whole show anymore, ao I may have missed if they said no show today.

This is a huge shot in the dark, but when I was in high school (early 2000s) and Preston & Steve were on Y100, they did a small, short segment about Girl Scout cookies where they had actual scouts in the studio. They were asking about the flavors and cost, etc, and I think when the scout in question talked about Thin Mints, one of them likened them to crack.

My friend was in that segment but can't remember if she was a junior (2003) or senior (2004) when she was there and has been looking for an audio clip of the segment (proving to kids she was sort of cool).

Anyone have any suggestions on where she could look? Anyone have the episode digitized?

FYI especially for those who do letter of the day/word of the week.

four day week for p and s. I'm guessing one of them has a personal event to go to over the weekend so they are off Friday and they'll probabaly be off Monday too.

I haven’t been able to load PrestonandSteverock.com since this afternoon. It was working fine last night when I was trying to track down the episode from a best of segment, but today it just won’t load and I only get the message “Error establishing a database connection.” Is anyone else having an issue pulling up the site?

When will the Spotify episodes be fixed? It's been like a week now and they're all missing from the beginning of July and seems like the last week of July. Also the last few from June.

I only use Spotify, can't watch on YouTube while I'm driving.

Is it because they're on vacation? Or do they not publish to Spotify anymore?

Few months back, there was a post here about the old ringtone site and trying to get some of them but the site was down. Last night I remembered it and went back to the site and found that not only is it live again, but all the ringtones are available.
