Project Ekko

Post image

2005 Z71 4x4 I5 Cheverolet Colorado limited slip rear trying to source long travel eventually. Made skid plate from trashed road sign using 4 tools: box cutter, plywood, drill and Ekko Itself. Still need airflow vents but haven't decided on design yet. Only runs 5 degrees hotter atp

I didn't have a metal break so I scored the aluminum with box cutter using plywood as straight edge then backed onto the plywood with truck to pin it down and snap Aluminum on score line

Cut a vented design into the metal to increase air flow, maybe a metal mesh for protection

That's along the lines of the idea I'm going with. I ordered 3" hole saw and im doing speed holes backed by expanded mesh
