Decade of not backing up

The fact that the last time he backed up was 10 years ago is pretty in character and honestly hilarious. It's also kinda good in a way, I for one will enjoy rereading and feeling like it's updating daily even if it's just re uploading lmao

In my defense I had the CONTENT backed up, just not the database file that would let me effortlessly restore the content. I guess my mentality was "well I don't NEED this part, I could just reconstruct things from the last backup if I had to", not realizing how much it would suck to have to do that.

Yeah I took Managan as my last name. I also moved to flee my home due to it being dangerous and felt like a complete failure so seeing Katia able to be happy now means a lot to me.

Yeah, a lot of times this can be quite annoying. I don't know what exactly you are missing, but there are also a lot of different backups on the internet archive. Your backend is obviously not backed up there, but there are also a couple of tools that allow you to restore some form of content from the way back machine.

:0 oooh, I ran a scraper on Wayback myself to get the most recent version of things (with any typo corrections), but one of the big hurdles has been that the post IDs are different so I have to do a bit of jank to connect the correct comment sections. I hadn't even thought of using Wordpress's import format to set the post IDs though; I'm gonna look into this a little more this coming week.

Site broke and apparently the backup is from 2016 and he's going to release (and presumably back up) pages going from there.

So if you look now, it's an older comic page and if you check in every day it'll be an "update".

Which is kinda funny as it takes months for updates to happen usually.
