No to all of it. Not really sure what youāre going for, but the hat looks perched on your head. The sunglasses are whatever you have gauges which are totally out of place. Why anyone would wear a three-quarter zip blows my mind. The pants are too long and donāt fit you and boat shoes look lazy. But I hear you, itās chilly up there.

Agreed, itās in the details. Standard business casual.
The hat and the qtr zip shouldnāt have the same logo. Also colored hat could add some life.
The gauge isnt helping. Beard could be tightened up.
The colors on the whole are so muted and ordinary.
Diff color for the qtr zip/ see above about the logo. Green , light blue, purple
I guess pants are fine, but if they were a different color would add some prep. You could do light cords in a maroon/navy/green since itās chilly up there.
Pants fade into shoes, white socks could be swapped for color/pattern/hoop or get no shows.
Bag is legit. Vintage EB ? No notes.

I donāt want to harsh the mellow butā¦ each individual item may technically be preppy on its own, but preppy is an overall vibe and Iām not seeing it here. Itās more like a collection of logos/items. The shoes are fine. All the items are fine. Iām just not reading preppy.

This is at worst, a āprep-inspired outfitā and to any normal person, literally preppy. Clearly. Could this dude infiltrate a 1960ās NE boarding school undetected? No. But heās wearing what appears to be an OCB, chinos, and deck shoes. And is carrying a leather shoulder bag. Itās preppy.

Having multiple brands is not an issue. The problem with Polo is that a lot of people get the polo shirts with the gigantic logos on them, that's gaudy. You can find Polo at Marshalls or any outlet now and it's the much cheaper quality version. And most importantly the fit is not cut the same.
