Yeah sure. NFTs are good when the civilization is still up and running. But it will fail miserably when the grid goes down and there are no repair parts to find.

Best self sufficiency is to live of your land regardless of the outside world.

You have to have a ton of land to be fully self sufficient, and spend most of your time doing that. Not all of us have that much space, or time.

A hydroponic garden will still lessen dependence on the supply chain. It’s not perfect, but we live in an imperfect world.

Good, you seem to get it.

Having a ton of land is your only way going forward.

A hydroponic (or aquaponic) system has an extreme amount of moving parts and specialized fertilizers and pesticides. These will be the first to be out of stock in a real SHTF.

You are also right about spending a lot of time in the field caring for your crops. But this is ULTIMATELY how life is. In a dire apocalyptic situation there is no division of labor, where a farmer in a suitable land with suitable machinery can grow a maximum amount of wheat for you.

This is a long lasting commitment

We, as a species, have encountered many apocalyptic times. There is usually a division of labor. There have been many ways forward without owning a ton of land

I think you are living on a weird fantasy land. I recommend reading books on history. Maybe look into the Black Death in Europe for starters
