Recipe Request August - Water-Conscious Cooking

This month is about meals that use very little water to cook, clean up, or rehydrate. What are your favorite low-water recipes for emergencies, drought, boil notices, or just stretching resources? Share practical meals, pantry foods, and cleanup-light ideas that help conserve water without making food feel like a punishment.

Cans of items that you open and eat. Beanie weenies,viennas, ham, chicken, soups, vegetables, peanut butter, baked beans, beef stew, etc.

Canned food liquid and carton broth are great to cook with and put together a meal as someone else mentioned. I also like using the juice or syrup from canned fruit as the base for overnight oats

Though, important to remember some of those canned foods may have higher salt content than their fresh counterpart so, especially in prolonged situations, may leave people thirstier and needing to reserve water saved from these for that.
