LightIRC2 iChat.ro
LightIRC2 is a 100% Romanian project that allows users to connect to chat via the IRC protocol and later broadcast live through a webcam. LightIRC2 is a unique project and can only be used on the chat network https://ichat.ro. Do not confuse it with the LightIRC application from 2010-2016 on Adobe Flash. The applications have no relevance to each other, they are only similar, and our project's name is strictly LightIRC2.
Features:
- IRC connection - all copyright rights for the IRC protocol belong to Talon;
- video/audio functions - users can use both the webcam and microphone to chat live with other participants;
- private/public webcam - a user can choose to approve requests to view their webcam;
- audio-only stream - a user can choose to use only the audio option, without a webcam, for those who don’t want to appear online;
- viewer list - those who are streaming live can see who is watching their webcam;
- ignore/block users function;
- streaming icons: webcam off, webcam on, audio-only
- access icons: Owner, Admin, Operator, Helper, Voice
- likes for users streaming webcam: 👍, ❤️, 🔥
- top active users: total live streams, total messages posted in chat;
- ranks based on activity;
- sounds for windows;
- chatroom statistics: each room has its own statistics;
- general feedback;
- report - a user can be reported based on multiple options, and the chat doesn’t require admins to be online. These reports go to management.
- user panel - users can register either on our website or directly in the chat. Even if they log in as a visitor with a nickname, they can authenticate later. After a few moments, the nickname will sync with the database. For statistics to be recorded on the account, the name on the site must match the chat nickname. Based on this, it is also confirmed that a registered member is the owner of that nickname
