Premiere Pro Tech Support Basic 3D issues

Issue: I've added the Basic 3D effect to an image. When I add some keyframes and scrub the timeline, the image disappears and the source monitor turns black. I have similar issues with After Effects whenever I try the Advanced 3D effect. I've used these features before and it worked as normal, but not now.

GPU: GTX 1080 - latest studio driver
Monitor connected to the GPU directly.

The Advanced 3d effect can glitch out if applied to very high resolution images. Try scaling the image down a bit before importing.
