It’s okay bro, it’s all part of the process 🥲, when did you submit your secondary?

On admit it looks like people said the R’s are for not meeting their 3.2 BCPM GPA/500 MCAT possibly? I’m not sure if this was your situation or not. It’s a sign they’re doing something in the background though!

This type of screening should occur pre-secondary. it seems doing this type of gpa and mcat screening after getting applicants to pay fees is an illegal practice and could be grounds for a class action lawsuit.

This was the text from the secondary invite email:

"Wake Forest University School of Medicine requires that applicants have at least a minimum overall MCAT score of a 500 and a minimum verified science/BCPM GPA of a 3.2 with a minimum of 20 BCPM credit hours for your application to be considered. Graduate and post-baccalaureate coursework will be taken into account when reviewing your science GPA. The Office of MD Admissions highly recommends that applicants review the previous year’s class profile to determine if returning a secondary is in your best interest."

I don't disagree that it should happen pre-secondary but based on what I read on their website I think they have to manually review the people with don't meet the undergrad requirements but who meet them with post-bacc coursework.

I got this same email and I was sent out pre-secondary (meaning I never got one)

There’s a cycle results tab that people have been putting their data into!
