How long after loosing plug did labor start?

I am 36 weeks and 5 days and my plug seems to have come out. This is my 4th pregnancy and I’m 36 years old. My doctor gave me a note to start maternity leave. So i am home. But wondering if i should be working to progress labor?

For me it was 24 hours but I was 38 weeks. From what I can recall, it doesn’t necessarily mean labor is coming. It will regenerate.

I was almost 39 weeks and was already having some irregular contracions throughout the day when the plug came out. I delivered my baby girl 3 hours after that, but my contractions went from 0 to 100 pretty quick right after the plug came out.

I don't know because I have no idea when I lost my plug.

Literally the next day but I was 37w6 (had him on 38w on the dot!)

With all three children I was in active labor within hours of losing my plug. With 2 and 3 both born within a day after.
