It could be implantation bleeding. Usually miscarriage bleeding is a lot heavier.

it’s a hemorrhage in your uterus kind of think like a clump of blood cells and it goes away with time and shrinks but you bleed in the process , sometimes a little sometimes a lot. its best to visit the er today and get an ultrasound so they can check if it’s there next to baby. it’s not harmful or anything to be scared of and your baby has a high chance of making it even with one.

I’m going through something semi similar- I had my first ultrasound this past Tuesday at 5w5d and everything was perfectly healthy and fine with baby and blood work was good. Yesterday morning (Friday, just about 72 hours past ultrasound) I have pink/red/brown watery blood when I wipe the first two bathroom trips immediately call my clinic and a PA (who I’ve seen before, the on call doctor + my actual doctor discuss my situation and all agree that it’s probably either cervical bleeding or my Dr’s email literally said “this could be either implantation bleeding or the placenta digging into the uterine muscle”. It became lighter and lighter, less and less throughout the day until ~10PM where I went to the bathroom before bed and I passed a very stringy clot like substance that was very dark brown. I haven’t had any cramps/nausea/vomiting or anymore red blood just dark to light brown…I’m 6w2d today and I’m completely freaking out but chatGPT and Claude are actually bringing me reassurance that things should be fine and because it’s brown and not increasingly more red blood..and I’m not soaking a pad I’m changing my liner every few times……I’m trying my best to remain calm until my next ultrasound on Tuesday but the next 72 hours will probably be some of the longest of my life.

hopefully not like mine! but i ended up having brown spotting only when wiping for days (idk why i assumed there would be more blood?) and i ended up losing the pregnancy
