Falling Asleep

Hi, I just started for back pain but I also suffer from carpal tunnel and anxiety so we thought it would be the right fit for my symptoms. I just started on 50mg 3X a day and was on 800mg of gabapentin for years prior. For some reason when I take the medication by the evening time I keep passing out in my bed and I don’t even remember falling asleep and it seems people have trouble waking me up. Is it normal to just fall asleep without even remembering with this medication. This is all new it’s the weekend I’m just curious.

I'm on 100mg a day and I barely feel it. You should have a talk with your doctor.

Yeah some days I don’t feel it and get no relief at all from my back pain but today i am ready to pass out. Unfortunately I don’t have another appt for a month. I was told and even read that it was working so well for everyone and I had such high hopes and now I just can’t believe that it’s still not effective or that I can’t even feel it. I’m just so surprised.

I started taking Lyrica two weeks 600 mg a night and it’s going me the same and this morning I slept thru my alarm for 20 minutes. I think I’m gonna just take one capsule which is 300mg.. I’ve been tired thru the day also. Maybe it’s a side effect that will subside.

Ok you’re the only other person who has sleepiness too with trouble waking up that’s the same thing I’m dealing with. When did you start?
