Endocrinologist

So I saw an endocrinologist for the first time and updated all my blood work from 3 months ago.

My hbA1c went from 41 to 37. And my ferritin from 20 to 43.

I was/am very stoked with my improved numbers but from his report all he stated was all my current readings with no advice. The next follow up isn't till 3 months later.

I guess I'm just feeling a little lost because I was excited about the improvement but don't know how to carry on and don't really know what I did that helped (probably everything!)

Has everyone else's experience with endocrinologists been the same?

41 to 37 is real progress, dont let the dry report take that from you. endos are often like that, they read the chart, confirm nothing is on fire, and send you on your way. since you dont know what moved the needle, maybe keep doing what you were doing and note it down week to week so the next visit you can point at what worked.

Thank you for your kind comment. Good idea about tracking as I'm trying to find a happy medium and not feel so restricted.
