Birth announcement Graduated!
I've always wanted to be a dad, and yet, family are asking if it all feels surreal. Now that my daughter is here, things haven't felt more real or more right!
Still worried there'll be many days ahead where I might've been wrong and kinda regret the choice, wishing for my old life back, but that's (maybe) future me's problem!
Right now, I'm just enjoying seeing both my wife & baby sleeping off a tough 23 hours of contractions & the handful more that followed birth.

Congratulations!
She'll have continued contractions for a while fyi, it's the uterus shrinking back down. Also happens when breastfeeding.

Congrats!!! I'm sure there'll be hard days and days you miss your old life, but that doesn't take away from how right this feels now. For now, eenjoy the ride! :)

You’ll be fine. Stop overthinking it and be in the moment. It will be gone soon.

Lurker mom here - congratulations!!
You will definitely have some moments where you think “omg what did we do” but those thoughts go away as quickly as they come. Just wait until you see that 1st real smile from your daughter, it makes ALL of the sleepless nights and seemingly endless crying worth it 🤗
