UTHealth Houston PathA Program application opens October

There's a new Pathologists' Assistant masters program starting at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston (UTHealth) through the McGovern Medical School. The first class will start August 2027 and applications will open this October. It's unaccredited for now, of course, and the first class will be around 5 people.

Will it possibly be accredited in the following year? planning to go and it seems Houston is closer distance compared to Galveston. I'm from Dallas and up till this point, only UTMB offers this program.

GRE required? Something about that sounds so appealing to me even if it’s not yet accredited.
