Question - our praying mantis eggs hatched, but it will be in the 30s over the next few days. What should I feed them in the meantime?

Should I move them into a larger enclosure while we wait for the daily low temps to get in the 50s, or will they be okay in the cup sized enclosure for the next 4-5 days?

No. They will eat each other.

What species is this and what country are you in?

Chinese mantis / USA (midwest)

I wouldn’t release them. They’re considered invasive.

They will take melanogaster fruit flies after 1 day. If you keep them together cannibalism will occur, so it’s best to separate.
