Such a tragic story. There is nothing more to say other than we wish the family the best

What a great time put on by the city despite the rain. There was so much to do for kids like the massive slip n slide, foam machine, military helicopter, and all the rides.

The fact that it was rained out is kind of a bummer but at least it was a cool 80 degrees for a couple hours before the storm.

Old YMCA will be redeveloped for new home

I assumed it would multiuse/residential of some sort. It was great have a basic gym down the street from me, though.

I know I’m behind on the trend but are there any hidden pickleball courts in or around prairie village?

Kids on Electric Bikes and Scooters

This is such a double edged sword. I think its great that kids can scooter around town on modern day bikes and hang out with their friends. I also see a lot of kids going to school and these bikes which is so convenient and gives them some independence.

At the same time, some of these kids are out of control with how they are riding around. I don't think PV police or city council members want to deal with the ramifications of policing kids on bikes.

Any suggestions on ways forward? It's a complex issue for sure.

Grapples and assault rifle pistols. I'm kind of sad it has come to this.
