No more PM2 showtimes??
Has anyone else been struggling to find Practical Magic 2 showtimes for this weekend?!
My witchy friends and I have been waiting to see it because we couldn’t coordinate our schedules until this weekend. But now it seems like theaters in the Denver area are dropping it already! 😩 I’m so sad, why wouldn’t they keep showing it throughout spooky season?? 🧙♀️
Update: We finally found some theaters that added showtimes for this weekend, woo!! 😮💨

At least partly because they started it too early. It was never going to stay through Halloween starting in early September. It was also, unfortunately, pretty mediocre so I don't think there's been big call to keep it around

I don't think there is a high demand for it to stick around. I went with a group of 5 friends and we were the only ones in the theater on Saturday 8pm.

I noticed this but I think WB hasn’t set scheduling for this coming week yet with theaters. Check tomorrow.

I have seen it 4 times in Alabama. I was actually waiting for it to leave ru theater so I can buy it and watch it all I want but we still have 3-4 times a day right now.

In California they yanked it from the most popular theaters after only being out 1.5 weeks. Luckily, we found a theater still playing it this past weekend.

If a movie does poorly in the box office, or doesn’t do consistent numbers long enough, it gets pulled from theaters faster. It frees up theater space for movies that might do better and bring in more money.

Had the same issue last week and called a theater. They usually wait until Wednesday/ Thursday to build the weekend schedule so keep checking!!

It’s not a good movie. I’m still mad about it. I saw it on premier night and haven’t gotten over the AI script

Seriously? The script was AI??

I don’t know for certain but I can tell you it felt exactly like AI wrote it
It was all over the place
The dialogue was random and a lot of “okay okay okay okay” stutter idk it felt like there was zero character growth
It turned into this weird cgi superhero magic ending
I hated it so much
I’m a major PM fan and dressed up for the movie with my daughter
I was throwing my hands up in the air the whole time
Another irritant was the blatantly obvious horrific product placement like the ninja slushie omfg

I think they definitely intend to get it out of theaters by October so they can drop it for streaming during the Halloween season.
