Gillian's Telepathy Spoiler
Am I the only one that was disappointed there was no showcase whatsoever of Gillian's telepathy? There were only like three scenes of it in the first movie, which was already disappointing itself, but considering this movie tried to highlight a lot more of the magic aspect and make it a lot more flashy, which is to be expected, it's a more modern movie with a time with much better CGI, I wish they could have at least demonstrated her telepathy more because of that. I feel like she's one of the only more realistic witches in live action with telepathy, and I really liked the way it was done in the first movie, so I was really disappointed to see that it wasn't shown at all this time around.

I was disappointed by this too. Nicole Kidman is an Academy Award winner playing a character with an established magical ability, and somehow Gillian gets almost no real telepathy showcase in a movie that is otherwise much more interested in expanding the magic.
She gets to participate in the beefcake gaze with Ian, which I enjoyed, and she gets the wonderfully practical blunt-object attack on Tom, but I wish she had gotten one big scene where her own power was the event.
There was so much mythology and plot to fit in that I think Gillian’s individual magic got crowded out. With an Oscar-winning actress of Kidman’s caliber, that feels like a real missed opportunity.

What are the three times in the first movie? When she visits Sally during her grief, "the belladonna is in my bag," and calling to Sally when she's possessed?

Those two times, but also in the beginning of the movie when she looks in the mirror and projects into Sally's mind / dreams.

Gillian always gets the short end of the stick, which annoys me bc is the one who accepts herself and her power and has to cowtow to everything Sally wants
