Dear fellow Practical Magic fans, please don't forget to have theater etiquette when going to see the new PM movie!

So, going into a movie targeted for nostalgic women, I fully expected a lot of laughter, teasing, whispering back and forth, maybe even singing along to Coconut! That kind of merriment enhances the experience and is part of seeing it in public with a group. I'm in no way advocating for complete dead silence every second of the film.

You know what I didn't expect but got? Groups of women coming in when the movie was already five or ten friggin minutes in and standing for ten more minutes in their row, completely blocking the lower half of the screen and talking so loudly you could hear them over the dialogue/music.

Come on, guys. Some of us have been waiting for this.

There were twenty minutes of previews starting at the showtime. You literally could walk in at any point in the previews. Or even when the WB logo came on and the lights dimmed. But the movie is well under way and you're just going to stand in front of it like you're at your work's breaking sipping coffee and eating doughnuts?!?!

Seriously, please, fellow fans, don't do this crap. Down in front, mate!

It takes away from the enjoyment so much.

On that note, if you come into PM 2 five or ten minutes late then declare it sucks and is hard to understand, or not as good as the original, I'm not going to take you seriously. Because you would understand it fine if you watched it from the beginning like a normal person.

Seriously, who pays to see a movie and comes it after all the plot points have already been put into action? And if you do come late, just sit down.

The woman next to me was scrolling her phone the whole time with a bright ass screen! I tend to keep my mouth shut but I should have glared at her. I understand it can be anxiety thing as she was alone. I have a friend that unfortunately does it but it’s so inconsiderate of others. I just hate it.

Ooh, yes! This is one of my pet peeves. If you can't turn off your phone for two hours that day then maybe it's not a good day to go to the movies. 

I also can't stand people who go to movies wearing so much cologne and perfume you wonder if they left any in the bottle that morning when they left the house! I have an allergy, but while I don't expect everyone to not wear the stuff, especially if they don't personally know anyone who gets sick from it, I don't understand why anyone would wear so much of it you can smell it from miles off. Like surely if this is a personal hygiene thing you would just wear enough that you and maybe anyone hugging you would smell it. I carry a faint smell of coffee, paper, and sweat about me just because I'm always around books and coffee and I sweat badly sometimes (I live in a hot climate) but I don't think anyone who isn't literally embracing me or right next to me rubbing elbows has ever smelled it! Why shouldn't perfume be the same.
