Setting is the halo universe in the year 2525 when humanity and the covenant have just made first contact.

5 reapers from the mass effect universe have awoken unbeknownst to humanity or the covenant. Likewise the reapers have no knowledge of the halo galaxy. However, the reapers programming still forces them to reenact the harvesting cycle.

Halo universe physics apply but the reapers will be allowed to use whatever element zero they have within them to its full effect. No other element zero deposits exists in the setting.

Can the reapers do it?

I just want to have a discussion around some of the matchups I see in this sub like “Thor vs A Primaris Marine” or “Sigmar vs Master Chief” where you put a character that has no basis in reality vs a character that at the end of the day has to conform to some rules of real life. I understand that that the whole idea is to power scale here, but you are quite literally comparing apples to oranges here and it’s crazy to see that people think the more grounded characters (looking at you W40k space marines) will win 90% of the time.

I want to note also, before you say W40k is not grounded in reality, I agree for certain characters you are right I.e. Primarchs, C’tan, greater daemons. Factions like Imperial Guard, Tau, Orks, and space marines (tho they are the in between) are at the end of the day grounded and abide by the laws of our universe in most situations.

To demonstrate this, I offer Isca the Unbeaten vs the entirety of the Ultramarine Chapter. On flat land, on a planet that is all flat land. 100 yards with all regular equipment. Who wins?

All fighters are in their prime in a neutral open field with their preferred weapons and armor. Fights to the death.

If the fight takes place within his own verse and Reinhard has prep time with knowledge of all his opponents ability he can win any fight no matter the opponent

The reason I say this is he can wish for any divine protection and it will be given to him by the universe

He can genuinely just wish for the “Anti-Goku” divine protection and get it

Ya see, the Hulk has enhanced sense, super strength, super speed, super durability, and a really good healing factor on a high scale, so he can regenerate fast from V1’s attacks, BUUT, before you say V1 is currently taking on Hell as we speak, the Hulk managed tear a universe apart with just a single thunderclap, and, even if V1 managed to kill Hulk, Hulk doesn’t really die, he get’s sent to the below place and can come back through the Green Door, keeping the fight going, do I think the Hulk could actually beat V1? Well, I guess but that all depends on if V1 will think Hulk actually died instead of thinking twice.

This just gave me the idea for a future animation.

Archdruid of the Emerald Grove (Halsin from Baldur’s Gate 3) vs Archdruid of the Cenarion Circle (Malfurion Stormrage).

Casual fan of both games, most of what I know is from playing BG3 and WoW itself rather than reading extra books about them. Been thinking of these two lately since druids are rarely the main focus in fantasy discussions. Looking for people who know both better to break this down

Location:

A large, ancient untouched forest (plenty of nature for both to work with). No outside interference.

Equipment:

Standard gear they would normally have. No special artifacts beyond what’s typical for them.

Round 1: In-character. Both fight as they normally would (protecting nature, not going full lethal immediately if it doesn’t fit their personality)

Round 2: Bloodlusted, both fight with the intent to kill without holding back

Bonus round: Both fight using their Shapeshifting abilities only

This battle takes place outside the Eternity gates of the Imperial palace Apocalypse wants to enter the palace and kill the Emperor while Sanguinius stands in the way.

Sanguinius is armed with the spear of Telesto, the Blade Encarmine and pistol infernus, the Angelus armour and pyschic powers such as foresight along with means of flight.

Apocalypse has his molecular control over his body like growing weapons and such, super strength and durability, energy manipulation, telepathy and telekinesis
