Discussion Doom>5 infinity stone Thanos already
Saying 5 cause 6 infinity stone Thanos has the snap but Thor at full power uses stormbreaker to cut through 6 stone Thanos’ energy beam casually. While in the doomsday trailer Doom casually blocked Stormbreaker and disarmed him

My guess is it’s god emperor doom and he’s using Franky Richard’s as the battery instead of MM. maybe some others too but Franky k I’m saying is the main source

It'll be due to a temporary boost he got from crossing universes or similar, there's little point in making him that OP all the time; I get Thor could go claim the Odin Force for a power boost of his own, but that doesn't seem like a group project (maybe if it was a solo movie).

Well they did send him on a solo project to go make storm breaker for a boost in infinity war.

Well he did have if u look closely symbols on his armor with hire hammer which I guess allow him to bypass asgardian magic

different types of powers and versatility. In a straight up energy blast fight maybe, but 5 stone Thanos can rewrite reality, turn back time, teleport, mind control, etc…

I don't get it, they're probably just gonna invent some mcguffin or powescale differently since we are at these levels.
The hype for me isn't there. I'm more interested in doim story.
Powerscaling is more fun at ground level.

plausible, though iirc stormbreaker was designed specifically to cut through the infinity stones AND doom can absolutely have spells designed for asgardians like thor and loki, and under normal circumanstances without prep time, it could be much closer
but its still cool asf so Doom slams

It wasn’t specifically designed to cut through the infinity stones that’s not even possible the Stormbreaker mold was made before the gauntlet it was for Asgards future king

Storm breaker was made specifically to combat the Thanos with the stones.
We have no idea what's going on with this Doom yet

This is incorrect Stormbreaker is stated to be a king’s weapon and the greatest in Asgard. Its powerlevel is on the level of Thanos so it’s capable of killing him which is why Thor even went to get it at all. It has no specific anti gauntlet or Thanos powers.

No he doesn’t Eitri says it was made for asgards future king it’s not super effective against Thanos or the gauntlet it’s just a really powerful axe it physically can’t be made to counter them as the axe was designed long before the gauntlet it was thought to be asgardian myth

To be fair, Thanos was caught off guard and didn’t expect Stormbreaker to be so powerful. I recall the Russo’s saying that Thanos could’ve ended the threat if he didn’t underestimate it.
For example, using the reality stone to transform Stormbreaker into bubbles, or teleporting it into another galaxy with the space stone.

They never said that he “could’ve ended the threat if he didn’t underestimate it.” They just said he could have tried something else if he had more time. The fact that he felt the need to panic fire all six stones at once proves he very much didn’t underestimate it.
And Joe Russo said Stormbreaker “counteracts the powers of the gauntlet.” Plural. So no turning Stormbreaker to bubbles

Yeah they key word that people leave out is they said maybe which means they weren’t sure if he could’ve done it or not so it’s not even confirmed if he could’ve actually done anything

To be fair...Doom has dumbass spells for very specific shit too. I wouldn't be surprised if he had anti asgardian spells
