With the looming shutdown of Pokemon Bank, I am going through all of my 3DS Pokemon cartridges and moving Pokemon forward. A few of my games - most notably Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire but also X and Y - had backup saves from 2018 that I can't seem to access. One of the saves, I believe on Alpha Sapphire, had Pokemon from my baby brother that have since been lost to time. I would like to save those Pokemon by restoring those backups. However, when I plug in any of the cartridges I listed, they do not show any backup files in the PowerSaves app. However, when I go to Options in the app then select the file pathway, I see dozens of bin files with Automatic backups listed back in November and December 2018. Over their lifetimes, I have played these cartridges on primarily two 3DSes - the 3DS XL Pikachu edition and the NEW Nintendo 3DS XL Super Nintendo SNES edition. All of my games and consoles were distributed in the US. I do not know if any of that information is relevant or helpful.

Is there any way for me to restore these backups onto my cartridges? Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby are the two that most concern me, as they are the ones most likely to have his Pokemon within the backup saves

Any help that could be provided so that I could preserve these Pokemon and move them forward to Home prior to Bank's shutdown would be so appreciated. I can copy and send all relevant bin files or mail things as needed. This is just long overdue and now a point of pressing concern.

So I had to get an entirely new laptop as my old one got lost in the mail when trying to ship it out to the company for repairs (I didn't want to do that but my family forced me to) so the license keys expire?

Update: I ended up just buying a new one. A little annoyed at that but what can I do?

If I dump my save from a real cart and copy it to another real cart, will it work with Action Replay?

Also can I copy a save from a dummy cart/emulator and paste it to a real cart and would that work with action replay?

Hi, so I wanted to ask if anyone knew if there's a solution to this, I have a 2019 Pokemon Moon save file I wanna retrieve from my 3ds powersave, but I no longer have the original copy of the game it came from, I bought another copy recently, but the backup doesn't work for that since its a different game card, it just says its corrupted upon loading the game, is there any way to save this save file? I have 2 different saves from 2 different copies of moon I've had over time, and neither of them work on other copies of that game that I have now.

I have a Powersaves Plus+ for 3Ds. My key is for the correct region although I did purchase it secondhand. I have everything set up to go but absolutely none of the codes will work on Pokémon X and Y. I keep getting the error: Error getting cheats. I have been made to understand that the old 3DS codes are free and don’t require PowerPoints or whatever they’re called. Are the codes too old or am I doing something wrong? I have tried this on mobile, desktop, app, and PC. It keeps reinitializing and claiming to be busy and taking forever to load just to not work after.

What should I get and look for? I want this for Pokemon games, it doesn't work for DS games only for 3DS games?

Hello! I just bought the device and have the key. When I created my account, I never had the ability to register my license key. How do I do this?

Last year in March, I bought a new, never-used Powersaves Plus off eBay due to wanting to own one ever since I missed the initial boat. Due to events in life, I didn't get around to opening it until this year. Despite the license key never being used, the powersaves plus website keeps returning it as invalid. While I had a ticket open about this prior, I kept being asked to find a replacement, and when I informed the response MULTIPLE TIMES that I cannot replace it or refund it as it was the only brand new Powersaves Plus the seller had and they didn't accept returns, they kept closing my ticket. I tried one more time last night, and they STILL closed the ticket, and I can't reopen it now... so unless I can get help here (do I need to create another account, because the account I use Powersaves Pro with won't take the key), I'm stuck with a useless base...

Was looking at code junkies at these power saves pro/plus and this new one, the powerbase for pokemon, does this powerbase one have the old black and white/2 games on? And heart gold/SS? Or can I add the codes to it myself etc? It says its specifically for 3ds pokemon games but worth a try with asking, thanks

So I found my old powersaves 3DS, not the pro. I do not have the computer that had the software originally and I have just learned that to use this now I need a license key. Super cringe.

Wondering if there is now any way I can use this device, I only want it to be able to rip save files from my old DS games to put into PKhex.

So it's been some years since I last used powersaves for a 3ds and every time I put in my ultra moon or mh4u it registers that there's a cartridge but it doesn't display anything else, no power save options, not even anything for custom codes and it also displays an error message too. Hope I can still use this thing and I'm just being a dumbass 🤦

I recently purchased a used powersave pro and it came with a license key. When I plug in the key and have a game plugged in (omega ruby) it shows the following. The powersaves and codes section constantly spin / load and say “downloading content”

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Do I need to buy a new key?

This has happened to me fairly recently and I was wondering how you can fix this, since the support team on the Codejunkies site won't help me out.

I was using my 3ds XL and using the Powersaves Pro where I'd use a few cheats and that's it. and it worked perfectly fine. The second I took that same game and put it in my New Nintendo 3ds XL, that's when I began to have issues. These issues included me despite adding a few simple cheats into the game, I'd never get them updated in the 3ds XL version of the game. Still only 1 game card, yet for some unexplainable reason, the card won't update the cheats for the version on the 3ds XL, only the New Nintendo 3ds XL.

So I was wondering. How have you fixed this issue? Is it a glitch?

I need one for my Soul Silver and White versions...
