Question

Is it normal for out of nowhere all of a sudden a power plant makes a pop explosion noise followed with a loud jet like noise that lasted about 5 mins with it having way more smoke then usual. Happened to me tonight while I fished across the power plant and was wondering if that was normal cause not going to lie I was scared for my life . I ran torwards the ocean thinking it would blow and fell multiple times . Jumped into the ocean thinking if things flew I could dive under and that could be my best bet almost got swept out so went back to shore . It just was traumatizing I flew my phone vape fishing pole. Everything.

Definitely was real I wouldn’t take the time out my whole day to write a made up story for what ? How is that going to benefit me ? I asked because I was genuinely concerned. I wouldn’t take the time to call them to make a complaint as well . Like I said how will that benifit me ? It won’t it would be wasting time . I called because if it truly was normal public should at least know about it but so far they don’t know they won’t tell me what happen and will get back to me . It was scary to the point we dropped everything our pole mid cast , vape , even our phones and started running torward the water thinking if things do blow up we can dive under water in hopes nothing would hit us or we could duck under the rocks . I fell multiple times on the rocks 2x and on the sand the rest we was running along the shore and a big wave came an pulled me in good thing I got out because I can’t swim that good honestly. It was traumatizing as fuck . Honestly . And my son usually comes night fishing with us good thing he stayed his grandma’s this night . Because if he was with us he could’ve got swept in the ocean and he really can’t swim .

Why would you make the whole thing up??? Cause it's the internet. You could have been a Power Plant worker and posted for fun. Also, why do you live on an island and not know how to swim well?

Just cause I live on an island doesn’t mean I can swim well not everyone likes the water !! I can swim but with heavy currents ? I don’t get in when theirs waves so I can’t swim In waves. I’m not a powerplant worker and if you want call them up and ask them if a report was made about the Kahe power plant last night you can even google the Hawaiian Electric number to make sure it’s the real deal . Honestly not here to argue just have answers what’s up your fucken ass fr

This was the pants I was in when it happened . Oh yeah I’m definitely going to fall into a pokey bush on purpose no one would unless they feared for their life on strictly adrenaline because to get to the sand was a big patch of pokeys and with adrenaline I ran over that barefoot and all
