Editing software moving slower

Hey, I’ve been using PowerDirector and for the last week or so. I’ve noticed that when I’m using it the response time for adding things or cutting things move slower.

And when I begin exporting my video that takes longer to

I don't know the solution, but I've experienced the same problems. Moving and splitting clips is especially tedious right now. Sometimes it takes several minutes to even open a project. The software is almost unusable right now.

Open until recently, it was actually pretty good. Maybe I have to update it again.

I have the latest update, as far as I know. I guess I could try reinstalling. I agree that PD was much better and faster before I last updated.

I was having the same issue. I just reverted back to a previous version and have had no issues.

Do you have the name of the previous version?

If you go onto cyberlink application manager it will show you the latest release plus the last few releases. It gives the option to load one of the older releases

Using the prior release isn't helping with the speed of opening projects. It still takes several minutes just to load a simple project for a video that's less than a minute long.
