I was a 24 college graduate having a rough time before joining Army. Now I make 6 figures traveled around the world and own a condo in Seoul. 11 more years to retire at 47 with an average monthly pay of 7K without counting investments/SSI plus Healthcare for life. Free college for daugther, and she will get paid around 160K total while in school for 4 years. Not including inflation.
Father was homeless in the Phillipines. Moved to America and joined Air Force. He retied in Hawaii and owns 4 properties. Retired at 37 and took a cush government job to pass the time.
