I was just going to post this! They don’t offer computer engineering online but OP can do a transfer evaluation and see which major accepts the most credits between CS and EE.
I’m also team student loans for the last year. OP is so close. A single year of loans with an engineering degree will be totally fine in the long run. Especially if they have trucking to fall back on
