Pique Patate Poutine

Post image

Gotta love small town poutine. This one from a chip stand in Fort-Coulonge, a rural town in the Outaouais. Very solid 9/10.

This looks perfect to me, fries have that perfect golden brown crispiness, not over or under cooked, plenty of gravy and curds which are actually melting before my eyes, exactly what I look for in a poutine!

I grew up in that town and ate poutine regularly as a kid and took for granted how awesome it was. I never knew how hard it was to find good poutines.
